ASIS APP® is a Board certification, which is recognised across the world. The APP exam consists of 125 multiple-choice questions covering tasks, knowledge and skills across four broad domains. Supported by your study resources which you need to purchase before the course begins, and your tutor, this bootcamp aids your preparation with complete mock exams, assessing your understanding of the materials and highlighting areas for further study.
Note: the ASIS exams are experience-based therefore, you will need to apply your own experience to answer the questions correctly. Please don’t attempt to memorise the reference sets.

About the Exam
To gain the post-nominals ‘APP’, you must sit and pass the exam, which is taken at a Prometric test centre.
The APP® exam consists of 100 scored and 25 unscored multiple-choice questions. The exam covers tasks, knowledge and skills across the four key domains in this course.
The exam fee is not included in this training package.
You are responsible for booking your exam and sourcing copies of the ASIS learning materials.

Eligibility Criteria
The Associate Protection Professional certification is designed for entry-level security professionals with one or more years of related, compensated experience.
Additional requirements include:
- Full-time employment in a security-related role
- Have not been convicted of any criminal offense that would reflect negatively on the security profession, ASIS, or the certification program
- Willingness to sign and agree to abide by the ASIS Certification Code of Conduct
- Willingness to agree to abide by the policies of the ASIS Certification programs as outlined in the Certification Handbook

Study Format
Upon registering your place, you will have access to the online learning platform, which hosts the study materials.
To give you the best possible chance with your exam, this online training course directs you to the relevant parts of the ASIS APP reference materials.
You will study one module at a time, completing knowledge assessments and practice exam questions, revise the materials within the key domains, and assess your existing knowledge of the subject covered.
Whilst learners typically complete this course in one-to-six months, you’ll have access to it for 12 months. Completing it is entirely down to your personal and professional commitments and your own learning style.
However, we do recommend you set a goal for taking the exam before you start, so you have a date to work towards.
